Filler application - Aluminium

• Mask the repair area
• make sure to mask with soft edges, hard edges will leave marks in basecoat.
• Clean with 70-10

• Washprimer 27-10  100%
• Hardener 57-10        50%
• Reducer 60-             30%

• Spray gun HVLP 1.3, 2 bar
• Apply 1 coat over the bare aluminium.

Application:

• 1 coat (see 27-10 TDS)

Flash off:

• 10 min at 20°

• Prepare undercoat accoridng to color 20-24
• To obtain different colors, fillers can be mixed

• 20-24/-34/-94  4
• 50-10/-15        1
• 60-10/-20/-30  1 

• Spray 2 wet coats on repair
• Stay with second coat in the patern of first coat as shown on the picture

Dry Properties

• 8 min short wave
• or 3 hours at 20°C

• Use of sanding guide, highligts surface imperfections and possible sand scratsches prior to finish with abrasives.

• Fine sand area with orbit machine P320
• Surround area with P400/ P500

• Fine sand area with 3mm orbit machine and P320
• finish with P400/ P500
• Blend in area P1000/2000

• Clean carefully with 70-10
