1. Cleaning

  • Clean carefully with cleaner 70-45
  • Use wipe on, wipe off method

2. Preparation steps

  • Tack cloth the area to be painted

3. Mixing ratio of basecoat:

4. Basecoat

  • Spray gun HVLP 1.4,  pressure 11.6 - 21.8 psi (0.8 - 1.5 bar)
  • Cover filler patch with reduced pressure until covered
  • Keep the patch as small as possible
  • Flash off until matte

5. Mixing blend in clear:

  • 45-W10                     100%
  • 45-R45 Diluter            70%

6. Blend in clear

  • Spray gun HVLP 1.4 pressure 29.0 psi (2.0 bar)
  • Spray 1 wet coat until 4 in (10 cm) of edges
  • No flash off

7. Mixing blend in clear and basecoat

  • Mix RFU blend in clear and RFU basecoat 1:1

8. Blend in of base coat

  • Blend in the filler patch into wet blend-in clear
  • Spray gun HVLP 1.4 pressure 11.6 - 21.8 psi (0.8 - 1.5 bar)
  • Flash off

9. Mist coat

  • Apply a mist coat over the repaired area
  • Spray gun distance is 12 in (30 cm)
  • Flash off
  • Panel is now ready for clearcoat
