1. Cleaning process

  • Check the panel for transportation damage
  • Clean with 70U-15 70U-10
  • Wipe on wipe off (2 cloths)

2. Preparation

  • In case of transportation damage, repair the damage
  • Scratches with P400
  • Clean with fine hand pad abrasive (similar to grey scotch brite) in combination with 70U-10 cleaner
  • In case of larger damage, follow the damage panel process

3. Preperation of panel

  • Apply 2-3 full coats 23U-10 Etch Aerosol to all bare aluminum, with 2-5 min flash between coats.
  • Dry 15-20 min at 68°F (20°C) before sealer application.

4. Primer preparation

  • Prepare undercoat according to color 20U-23 / -24 / -25
  • To obtain different grey shades, fillers can be mixed

6. Application

  • Tag cloth the panel carefully

7. Application

  • Spray gun: RP 1.3 / 29.0 psi (2.0 bar)
  • Apply 1 wet coat on panel

8. Flash off

  • 30 min at 68°F (20°C)
  • Panel is ready for baslac® basecoat, after flash off
