1. Cleaning step

  • Clean carefully with cleaner 70-45
  • Use wipe on wipe off method

2. Preparation steps:

  • Tag cloth the area to be painted

4. Application first coat

  • Spray gun HVLP 1.4 pressure 29.0 psi (2.0 bar)
  • Spray 1 wet coat on the fender
  • Flash off

5. Mixing blend in clear:

6. Application method blend in clear

  • Spray full wet coat on door, until 4in (10 cm) of adjacent panels
  • No flash off

7. Mixing ratio:

  • Basecoat                 100%
  • 45-R45 Diluter         70%

8. Application method second coat

  • Spray gun HVLP 1.4 pressure 29.0 psi (2.0 bar)
  • Spray second coat on wing
  • Reduce pressure between 11.6 - 21.8 psi (0.8 - 1.5 bar) and blend in the door

9. Application method

  • Flash off until matte door and fender

10. Mist coat

  • Apply mist coat over repaired are
  • Spray gun distance approx. 12 in (30 cm) from object
  • Flash off
  • Ready for clear coat
