 1. Masking

- Mask the repair area
- make sure to mask with soft edges, hard edges will leave marks in basecoat
- Clean with [70-10](https://techinfo.baslac.com/en/70-10.pdf)

 2. Primer application

- For corrosion protection on large bare metal, [27-10](https://techinfo.baslac.com/en/27-10.pdf) is recommended

**Application:**

- 1 coat (see [27-10](https://techinfo.baslac.com/en/27-10.pdf) TDS)

**Flash off:**

- 10 min at 20°C

 3. Mixing ratio

- [57-10](https://techinfo.baslac.com/en/57-10.pdf) Hardener 50%
- [60-](https://techinfo.baslac.com/en/60-05.pdf) Reducer 30%

 4. Filler process

- Prepare undercoat according to the car color [20-24](https://techinfo.baslac.com/en/20-24_20-34_20-94.pdf)
- To obtain different grey shades, fillers can be mixed

 5. Mixing ratio

 6. Application of filler

- Spray 2 coats on repair to obtain 50 to 70 microns
- Flash of 5 min between both layers
- Stay with second coat in the pattern of the first coat

**Drying times:**

- Small repairs 50-05 and 60-05 
    - 3 min short wave
    - 60 min @ 20°
- Large repairs 50-15 and 60-10 
    - 3 Hours @ 20°
    - 30 Min @ 60°

 7. Sanding guide

- Use of sanding guide, highligts surface imperfections and possible sand scratches prior to finish with abrasives

 8. Sanding steps

- Hand block with P320 / P400 for perfect levelling prior to machine sanding

 9. Sanding steps

- Fine sand area with 3mm orbit machine and P 320
- finish with P 400/ P 500
- Blend in area P1000/2000

 10. Cleaning

- Clean carefully with [70-10](https://techinfo.baslac.com/en/70-10.pdf)
- Use wipe on, wipe off method (2 cloths)
